Teniola Aladese Biography
Teniola Aladese is a Nigerian Actress, Producer and Casting director.
She was born in Lagos State, into a family of six. Teniola is a graduate of Mass Communication, Covenant University, Ota, who has strived to build a career in TV and film production.
Between two yearsFrom 2013 to 2015, she made her way behind the scenes as a production Coordinator on over 30 Africa Magic Original Films. She then went on to serve as Production Coordinator on Africa Magic’s television drama series, Hush and Jemeji.
Teniola recently won the Trailblazer award at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.

Early Life and Education
She was born on 20th September about 30 years ago in Lagos State, Nigeria. The sixth child of a family of six children, Teniola studied Mass Communication at Covenant University, Ota
Teniola’s Career in film production all started in her 300 Level at Covenant University, during her IT. She wanted something that’ll put her on the path toward acting, even though she couldn’t intern as an actor.
Her sister, Tunde Aladese at that time was head writer of Tinsel; she helped put in word for her and she did her intern for about a month and that is where it all started. Teniola worked under the three assistant directors and learnt a lot from them, doing some production assistant works as an intern.
About finishing from University at 400 Level, Teni sent a letter to the Producer of Tinsel, Mr. Rogers Ofime thanking him for the opportunity to intern with him, and if he could employ her fully as a production assistant since graduation from the University was soon.
Rogers obliged and scheduled her for an interview. From there, her career as a production assistant started officially in 2013 till date. So far, Teni has grown through the ranks from being a production assistant, production coordinator, and production manager, to a producer.
In 2015, Teni began her acting career and starred in Eneaji Chris EnenG’s ‘Perfectly Flawed’ and also starred in the TV mini series, “This is it” directed by Dolapo Adeleke.
Aladese garnered major recognition while playing the character, Akweyon on the Africa Magic television drama, ‘JEMEJI’ of which she was the Production Manager on the show.
In 2018, Teniola was the Line Producer on the television Drama series ‘Forbidden’. Till date, she also continues to serve as Line Producer for IK Osakioduwa’s ‘Comedy Nites’.
From 2018 till now, Teniola has continued to blaze the screen with her acting skills as she has been involved in so many other films like ‘Fade’. The film was one of the selected short films at the 2019 edition of Nollywood Week in Paris. It was also one of the official selections for the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) in 2019.
In January 2019, Aladese starred in the short film, ‘Her’. In May 2019, she starred in the film Déjà Vu alongside Ayoola Ayolola and Baaj Adebule.
Aladese gained critical acclaim for her role on the television drama series, Unbroken as the Rogue, Folashade FK Kuku .
The multi-talented communicator-turn- producer, Teniola also loves drawing, painting, singing and dancing at her leisure time.

At the moment, Teni is working on Ricordi currently filming with Big Brother Naija’s Diane Rosset, Daniel Etim Effiong and Abdul T.J. There are a couple of other projects too in the works.
Teniola won the Trailblazer award in the just concluded 2022 Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards that was held on May 14, 2022 at the Eko Hotel, Lagos. She was presented the award by Hollywood Actresses- Tasha Smith and Sidra Smith, along with $2,000 from the actresses and #1,000,000 from AMVCA.
Teniola is vey free-spirited as she loves drawing and watching movies while indoors and also love hanging out with friends.
