Jaime Elizabeth Pressly, born July 30, 1977, better known as Jaime Pressly, is a talented American actress, fashion designer, and model. She is most known for playing Joy Turner on the NBC comedy My Name Is Earl, for which she received nominations for the Golden Globe and the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Early Life and Education
Jaime Pressly was born in Kinston, North Carolina, the daughter of automobile salesman James Liston Pressly and dance instructor Brenda Sue (née Smith).
She relocated to Costa Mesa, California, with her family in 1992, where she spent the first semester of her sophomore year in high school.
She trained as a gymnast throughout her youth and early adolescence, which helped her land modeling gigs.  She made her debut on the cover of Teen Magazine at the age of 14 and went on to serve as the spokesperson for the International Cover Model Search.  She quit school at the age of 15 and signed a modeling contract before moving to Japan.
At age 15, she was able to obtain formal emancipation from her parents so that she could visit Japan by herself because neither of her parents could accompany her. 
In 1997’s Poison Ivy: The New Seduction, the third entry in the Poison Ivy series, Pressly played Violet, an angry seductress, following her uncredited performance in 1995’s Baywatch and her 1996 cameo in the movie Mercenary.
Following a brief cameo in the teen cult hit Can’t Hardly Wait, the actor made several guest appearances on television, including in the short-lived Push and Mortal Kombat: Conquest.
She later went on to play one of the leads in the two-season The WB television series Jack & Jill, which ran from September 26, 1999, to April 15, 2001.
Playing scheming gold-digger Sandy Lake in the independent 2000 film Poor White Trash, Pressly also starred in three teen-targeted 2001 theatrical releases.
Despite their varying degrees of success, these roles helped Pressly gain more recognition.
She played Priscilla, a high school cheerleader, in the parody movie Not Another Teen Movie alongside Chris Evans.
She also portrayed a young wife in the sex comedy Tomcats and a Southern love interest in the comedy Joe Dirt with David Spade.
In the television horror movie Finders Keepers, Pressly portrayed a divorced mother whose life is turned upside down when her little daughter develops an obsession with a sinister toy that was left behind by the previous owners.
Pressly played Jill Kendall, a wealthy socialite and alcoholic, on the CBS comedy Mom from 2014 to 2021.
Pressly joined the cast of the comedy Welcome to Flatch as a series regular for the second season, Fox announced on August 4, 2022.
In 2003, Pressly debuted a lingerie line called J’aime by Jaime Pressly, which she later expanded to include clothing and sleepwear.
