Early Life and Education
Efe Irele is a native of Edo State, in the South South region of Nigeria, but was born and reared in Lagos State.
She is one of three siblings. Efe Irele attended Corona Primary School in Lagos and Queens College in Yaba for her secondary school.
Irele holds a BSc in Sociology from Bowen University and an MA in Human Resource Management from the University of Chester in the United Kingdom.
After graduating from university, Efe worked briefly in a reputable firm before deciding to pursue her passion for modelling and acting.
In 2012, she dabbled in modelling for musicians and appeared in Burna Boy’s Like to Party video.
She also appeared in the Sade video by Adekunle Gold. She then appeared in numerous Nollywood films and television shows, such as Real Side Chics, Wrong Kind of War, Ire’s Ire, Zahra, and others.
After several months of working as an HR manager, Efe Irele made the decision to try acting. She was cast in the 2016 Iroko TV series Aso Ebi for her debut performance.
