Chinonso hails from Warri, a town in Delta State, Southern Nigeria. Her upbringing took place in Lagos, and she belongs to the Igbo heritage, specifically from Awka in Anambra State.
She earned her Mass Communication degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, where she actively participated as a presenter on the campus radio station. Notably, in 2005, Chinonso secured the title of Miss Teen Nigeria.

Chinonso initiated her acting journey as a day player on the M-Net television series “The Johnsons” in 2014.
Subsequently, she ventured into writing and producing for Consolidated Media Associates, responsible for platforms like Sound City, Trybe TV, and Spice TV, contributing to shows like “On The Couch,” “Project Swan,” and “You’ve Got Issues.”
