Sydel Alicia Curry-Lee, born October 20, 1994, better known as Sydel Curry, is an American former college volleyball player. She played for the Elon Phoenix women’s volleyball team in the CAA Conference. She is the daughter of Dell Curry and Sonya Curry and the sister of Stephen and Seth Curry.

Early Life and Education
Sydel Curry, who was raised by Dell and Sonya Curry and was born in Charlotte, subsequently returned to Charlotte with her two older brothers, Stephen and Seth.
Her father, Dell Curry was an NBA player, and Sonya played volleyball. Both of her parents were athletes. At age five, she started playing volleyball, and she later finished high school at Charlotte Christian School.
Curry led Charlotte Christian High School’s volleyball team to two Southern Section Division IV championships over her four years as a starter and three years as team captain.
She received the NSCAA High School All-American and Parade Magazine All-American honors in 2013.
She won 98 games during her time in high school, including 38 in her final year alone (a school record). She won the Prep League Offensive MVP award four times and twice was named Southern Section Division IV Offensive Player of the Year.
Curry competed in club volleyball for Carolina Union and earned the US Youth Volleyball Association’s national championship tournament’s Golden Boot award for most assists scored.
