Tayo’s early life was spent in Ilisan Remo, Ogun State, in the southwestern region of Nigeria. He received his primary and secondary education in Ilisan-Remo before continuing his studies at Ibadan Polytechnic, Ibadan, where he earned a National Diploma in Mass Communication.
Career
Ijebu was initially introduced to the world of acting through the Muyiwa Ademola Authentic School of Drama. He also served as a personal assistant to another comedic actor, Olaniyi Afonja, popularly known as Sanyeri.
His breakthrough into the limelight came with the film “Muniru and Ambali,” which was produced by Tayo Amokade himself, written by Sanyeri, and distributed by Adekaz Productions.
