Muyiwa Ademola, born January 26, 1973, popularly known as Muyiwa Authentic, is a prominent Nigerian actor, film producer, and director. In 2005, his film “ORI” (Fate) was honored with the Best Indigenous Film award at the 1st Africa Movie Academy Awards. Additionally, in 2008, he received a nomination for the Most Outstanding Indigenous Actor category at the 4th Africa Movie Academy Awards.

Early Life and Education
Muyiwa Ademola was born on the 26th of January, 1971, in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State in southwestern Nigeria.
His educational journey led him to St. David’s High School in Molete, Ibadan, where he achieved the West Africa Secondary School Certificate.
He furthered his education at the University of Ibadan, earning a Bachelor of Education degree in adult education.
Muyiwa Ademola entered the Nigerian film industry under the guidance of Charles Olumo, who is widely known as Agbako and based in his hometown, Abeokuta.
Subsequently, he crossed paths with S.I. Ola, a movie director who mentored him in the realms of acting and film production.
His full-fledged acting career began in 1991, and by 1995, he had successfully transformed his script into a movie titled “Asise” (Blunder), with sponsorship from Dibel, a generator set company.
Since that time, he has been actively involved in producing, directing, and acting in numerous Yoruba Nollywood films. In January 2013, he faced a life-threatening accident that made headlines. His career is managed by Adenekan Mayowa.
