Early Life and Education
Mampintsha was born in Umlazi, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, where he grew up. While growing up, he fell in love with music.
He was raised by his parents before relocating to Johannesburg and Durban. Her mother’s name is Zama Gumede.

Career
Mampintsha came into prominence after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend, Bongekile Simelane, popularly known as Babes Wodumo, which made headlines in South Africa.
Mampintsha began making music in 2002 and founded the famous Kwaito group called Big Nuz, with top artists such as Mzi Tshomela and the late Sbu Khomo.
The group got an invitation from Gallo Records in 2004, which earned them their first album, titled Zozo with Kid Mokoena.
Mampintsha and his group released their second album titled 2nd Round Knockout in 2008 under a new label Afrotainment.
In 2008, their song bagged a nomination at the Channel O Awards, and also, a track in the album titled Uyoysholo Wena received a nomination for the Song of the Year at the 2008 SAMA.
They have worked with DJ Fisherman and DJ Tira in a bid to be more famous.
In 2018, Mampintsha released his solo studio album titled Gentle Don EP, which was a massive success.
