Kingsley Kuku, born August 14, 1970, is a Nigerian political and environmental rights activist. The Hon. Kingsley Kuku was the Special Adviser on Niger Delta Affairs to former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan and also the chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Programme.

Early Life and Education
He was born in Arogbo, Ondo state, where he grew up with his family and had his primary and secondary education.
Kingsley grew up in Arogbo, the headquarters of the Ijaw ethnic nationality in Ondo State, Nigeria.
He attended Patrick Catholic Primary School and Ijaw National High School, both in Arogbo, Ondo State.
Kuku graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English Language from Ondo State University, Akure.
He did his M.Sc. in International Relations and Strategic Studies at Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State.
He also had a course at the University of Cambridge where he obtained a certificate in Dispute Resolution in 2008.
While at the university, he started activism and was elected as the student leader and one-time (NANS) mobilization officer.
Kuku has contributed massively to the restoration of lasting peace in the oil-rich Niger Delta region of Nigeria.
