Khosi Twala was born on August 10, 1997, to South African parents and grew up in the Rainbow Nation. Her birth name, Makhosazene, was given to her by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Twala.
She hails from Newcastle, in KwaZulu-Natal, and her roots trace back to the Zulu tribe. Khosi comes from a family of six, including two brothers and a sister. During her teenage years, she earned the nickname “Yo-highness K.”
