Jason Statham was born 1997 in England, where he spent his childhood diving into pools and playing football. He was so good at diving, he even trained for the national team for 12 years. When he wasn’t diving, you could find him kicking a ball alongside his friend Vinnie Jones, who later became an actor too.
Later in the 90’s, while still training, a modeling agency spotted Statham’s cool vibe and offered him gigs with big brands like Tommy Hilfiger. To make ends meet, he sometimes even sold things on the street, to help himself and the family.
Then, in 1997, things became more better. A director named Guy Ritchie saw Statham and offered him a part in his first movie, “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.” He wasn’t given the lead role, but Statham nailed it with his tough-guy attitude which was a breaking point to being popular.
