Early Life and Education
Asogwa hails from Nsukka, Enugu State, where she was born. She comes from a family of four, having one brother and two sisters.
Pursuing her education, she attended the New York Film Academy, furthering her passion for the arts.
Her educational journey began in Enugu State, where she completed her First School Leaving Certificate in 2006 at Aunty Lizzy International School.
For her secondary education, she attended Federal Government College, Enugu. During her time in secondary school, she actively participated in track and field, with the full support of her parents.
However, her parents grew concerned about her commitment to academics, even though she consistently achieved good grades.
Consequently, they decided to transfer her to a different school. Unfortunately, this led to her repeating the SS1 class, which had a significant psychological impact on her.

Ultimately, she made the decision to drop out of the university during her fourth year, where she was pursuing a degree in Agricultural Science, in order to embark on a new degree program in theatre arts.

In 2016, Alex Asogwa participated in the Miss Eastern Nigeria beauty pageant and emerged victorious, being crowned as the winner.
Her achievements didn’t stop there, as she also had the honor of hosting Marvel Studio’s red carpet movie premiere of Avengers Endgame in Nigeria.
Additionally, she displayed her talent as an event anchor for Lanre Olusola’s book launch, sharing the stage with fellow actor Deyemi Okanlawon.
