Originally from Toronto, Ontario, Cameron was born to Jamaican parents, Yvonne Brown and Donovan Cameron.
She attended St. Joseph’s Secondary School in Mississauga, Ontario, where she actively participated in sports. For three years, she played basketball, and for one year, she was part of the soccer team.
Later, Cameron pursued her academic and soccer career at Ohio State, where she left an impressive mark.
