Augustine Miles Kelechi, born December 17, 1992, better known as Tekno Miles, is a multi-talented Nigerian singer, songwriter, entertainer, record producer, and performing artist.
He is from Ivo Local Government Area, Ebonyi State, and was born in Bauchi State into a family of six, five boys and one girl. Tekno grew up in Nassarawa, Kaduna, and Abuja due to the fact that his father was a member of the Nigerian Army. He enrolled in music school, where he learned and mastered the rudiments of playing the piano and guitar. He is the elder brother to Starboy label act Spotless.
Tekno has been consistent in the music industry since 2012 and has worked with record labels like K-Money Entertainment, Made Men Music Group, and his current Island Universal Cartel.
Early Life and Education
Kelechi professionally known as Tekno, hails from Ivo Local Government Area, Ebonyi State, but he was born in Bauchi State into a family of six, five boys and one girl and he was raised in several parts of Nigeria, including Nassarawa, Kaduna, and Abuja, because his father was a member of the Nigerian Army.
Tekno Miles enrolled in a music school at the age of 8 where he learned and mastered the rudiments of playing the piano and guitar, which paved the way for him to become a record producer, making beats for popular Nigerian musical artists.

Career
Tekno Miles was first signed under K-Money Entertainment, where he released his first single, “Holiday.” with featured vocals from Davido, and the song was positively received and gained massive airplay, making him a star to watch out for in the industry.
Tekno Miles was spotted by renowned Nigerian comedian Julius Agwu at an event in Abuja in 2012, after Tekno Miles received a standing ovation following the performance of a song titled “Onye Ne Kwu,” his remix of Ice Prince’s “Oleku.” He met Iyanya and Ubi Franklyn at the event, and they became friends. Ubi and Iyanya encouraged Tekno Miles to move to Lagos to further his music career, and he was signed to Made Men Music Group (MMMG) on October 5, 2013.
Under the label, Tekno released singles like “Dance” and “Anything,” which earned him a nomination in the “Best New Act of the Year” category at the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
On June 18, 2015, Tekno Miles released a top hit single titled “Duro,” which was produced by DJ Coublon. “Duro” was massively received both in Africa and on the international level, especially in the United States. He did a remix which featured Phyno and Flavour N’abania was released on November 16, 2015.
Tekno released another hit single titled “Wash,” which was produced by DJ Coublon with the video directed by AJE Filmworks. On October 13, 2017, Tekno was featured by famous disc jockey, DJ Cuppy, on a song titled “Green Light,” which was officially DJ Cuppy’s first single, and Tekno delivered as expected.
In June 2018, Tekno’s work earned him a distribution deal with Universal Music Group Nigeria (UMGN), a division of Universal Music Group in charge of West Africa, as well as the UK-based Island Records. In July 2019, Tekno was featured on Beyoncé’s The Lion King: The Gift soundtrack on the song “Don’t Jealous Me.”
On December 6, 2020, Tekno released the track list for his long-awaited debut album, Old Romance, which was a massive hit and received massive airplay a few hours after it was released.

The name of their daughter is named Skye Yaa Amaka Kelechi. In 2017, the singer revealed that he has acid reflux. The condition had gotten complicated and had ultimately affected his vocal cords. He had to undergo surgery to tackle the issue.
