He started acting at an early age and has been active in the movie industry even after he became a pastor. Sylvester is best known for movies such as Runaway Bride and Wedding Pandemonium.
The first child from a family of eleven children, Sylvester joined the Nigerian movie industry, Nollywood, in 1998. So far, he has acted in and directed over 200 movies in the past two decades.

Early Life, Childhood and Education
The talented actor, film producer, and currently pastor of the renown Christ Embassy Church was born on January 11, 1975. He is from Anambra State, Nigeria. He is the first child of his parents, who have eleven other children.
According to the report, Madu started acting as early as when he was five years old. He had his primary and secondary school education in his home town, Anambra State, where he got his first school leaving certificate and West African senior school certificate, respectively.
After his secondary school education, he decided to pursue tertiary education. He then enrolled and gained admission into the University of Maiduguri, located in Borno State, Northern Nigeria, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree.
