Early Life and Education
Rachel Zegler was born on May 3, 2001 in Hackensack, New Jersey in the United States to Craig Zegler and Gina Zegler, she has an elder sister.
Her mother is of Columbia descent and her father is of Polish descent. Her maternal grandparents immigrated from Columbia to the United States in the 1960s.
Rachel was raised in Clifton, New Jersey, where she attended St. Philip the Apostle Preparatory School.
She then also attended the Catholic all-girls College Preparatory Immaculate Conception High School and graduated on in June 2019.
Career
Rachael Zegler began her career starring in numerous musicals while attending the Immaculate Conception High School, as well as playing Belle in Beauty and the Beast (2016), Ariel in The Little Mermaid (2017), and Princess Fiona in Shrek The Musical (2019).
In all the four part she performed, she received Metro Award nominations in the actress in leading Role category, she also played other roles such as Serena in Legally Blonde, Cosette in Les Miserables and Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie.
