Early Life and Education
Osinachi Ohale was born on December 21, 1991, in Imo State, Southeast geo political zone of Nigeria.
She grew up with her parents and siblings in Imo State where she had her primary and secondary school education and began playing football.
Career
Osinachi Ohale initially played for Houston Dash in the National Women’s Soccer League during the 2014 season before returning to Nigeria to join Rivers Angels.
In 2016, she made a move to Swedish Damallsvenskan side Vittsjö GIK, where she featured in 22 matches before transferring to Vaxjo DFF in August 2018.
On September 11, 2019, Ohale signed a permanent contract with Spanish side CD Tacón, making her debut for the club just three days later in a 3–0 victory over Sporting de Huelva.
Subsequently, on July 30, 2020, she joined A.S. Roma Women in the Serie A Women’s League. Ohale, a Nigeria international, made the move from Spanish side CD Tacon (now renamed Real Madrid) after the expiration of her contract with the Primera Iberdrola outfit.
The transfer took place last month (June 2020), and she signed a one-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
Ohale has been a valuable asset to the Nigerian national team, representing them in the African Women’s Championship tournaments of 2010, 2014, 2016, and 2018, achieving victory in all four occasions.
She was also part of the Nigerian squads for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2011, 2015, and 2019.
