Early Life and Education
Omoni Oboli was born in Benin City, Edo State. She is an Mosogar ancestry, a small town Delta State, Nigeria.
She completed both her primary and secondary school education in Benin City, Edo State, obtaining the relevant credentials.
Omoni Oboli applied and got admitted into the prestigious University of Benin, Edo State and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in French.
Omoni Oboli continued her education after receiving her first degree at the New York Film Academy, where she took a 4-week session in digital editing.
Career
Omoni’s acting career started with a role as a secretary in the 1996 film Bitter Encounter. Her next film was titled, Shame.
She went on to play the leading lady in three important films, Another Campus Tale, Destined to Die, and Not My Will.
Omoni left the movie business in 1996 after a brief career to finish her undergraduate studies.
She got married right away after graduating from college and didn’t work in the sector again for ten years.
She claimed that a particular incident nearly caused her to give up on movies.
