Oluchi Madubuike is a Nigerian-American Nurse, Model and Beauty Queen. She was born in the year 1996; she is from Abia state in the Eastern part of Nigeria. Oluchi Madubuike represented Abuja and eventually emerged as the winner of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) for the year 2021 of which the event took place at the prestigious Eko Hotel, located in Victoria Island, Lagos. Oluchi Madubuike beat 37 women who participated in be declared the winner and claim the most precious crown amongst beautiful pageants across Nigeria

Oluchi currently resides in Detroit, Michigan, United States. According to the report, she was 25 years old when she emerged as the winner of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2021 which took place on September 18, 2021.

In December 2021, she represented Nigeria at Miss World 2021 and competed against 96 other candidates in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She was not included in the list of Top 40 quarterfinalists, who competed during the coronation night in San Juan on March 16, 2022.

Early Life, Childhood and Education

Oluchi Chioma Madubuike was born in  1996, she is from Abia state in the Eastern part of Nigeria

Oluchi Madubuike had her Primary and Secondary education Charles Dale Memorial International School in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

After her Basic education, she needed to further her studies at the tertiary level so she left for the United States of America.

While in America,she enrolled for a degree in nursing at  a university in Texas in 2013. In May 2017, she bagged a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Texas, Arlington, Texas, USA.

Oluchi started her pageantry career while still studying at the University of Texas. On September 3, 2016, she was crowned Miss Africa Texas 2016.

She worked for Baylor Scott and White Health in Waco, Texas as a nurse for a year between  July, 2017 to July 2018 after her graduation from the University of Texas in 2017.

She then joined  ADEX Medical Staffing in Detroit as an emergency room nurse in August 2018.

On May 25, 2019, she represented Abia State at Miss Nigeria USA 2019 at the Kumble Theatre in Brooklyn, New York, USA. It was Funmike Lagoke who won the crown and in April 2021, she left ADEX Medical Staffing and joined LeaderStat as an intensive care nurse.

On September 18, 2021, at the age of 25, she took some time off work to do what has brought her fame. She represented the Federal Capital Territory (Abuja) at the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) 2021 in Eko Hotel in Victoria Island, Nigeria and won the title, making her Nigeria’s Miss World 2021 representative.

In December 16 2021, she represented Nigeria at Miss World 2021 and competed against 96 other beauty queens in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She was okay in the competition but her Bess wasn’t good enough to be included in the list of Top 40 quarterfinalists, who competed during the night the Miss World 2022 was crowned in San Juan on March 16, 2022.

Oluchi was recognised as one the most outstanding students of her set during her study in University of Texas owing to her thesis which was titled “Facilitating the Integration of Nigerian Nurses into a U.S. Hospital”

She decided to become a nurse and one day, a medical doctor as well, after she lost her dad over a decade ago through Leukemia with a goal to find sustainable ways to help cancer patients.

Considering her goal to help cancer patients, she discovered an organisation, “Children Living With Cancer Foundation” which spearheads the change and care of children living with cancer in Nigeria. She wasted no time to partner with them. She has sponsored the treatment of two children in the foundation, Esther and Zion and for her, that’s the best achievement she has ever cherished.
