Rebecca Nengi Hampson was born in a village in Bayelsa State, a place where she grew up. She is a native of Bayelsa State.
Nengi graduated from the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) with a degree in linguistics and communications.
According to Nengi, she would have dropped out of University in many cases but God finally led her through.

Nengi is Model and Entrepreneur. She is a former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) Top 5 contestant in 2017.
