Born on January 25, 2002, in Seattle, Washington, Lathan Moses Stanley Echols grew up in the north end of the city with his mother. He started rapping in his early teens and began his music career in eighth grade. Echols attended Mountlake Terrace High School before transferring to Shorecrest High School in the tenth grade. After the success of his song “Pull Up”, he dropped out of school to focus on his music career, moving to Los Angeles to record.
