Early Life and Education
Kriti Kharbanda was born on October 29, 1988, in Delhi, India to parents, Ashwani Kharbanda and Rajni Kharbanda.
She has a younger sister by name Ishita who is a Chartered Accountant and a younger brother by name, Jaiwardhan Kharbanda, who is a co-founder of a company, Paper Plane Productions.
Kriti relocated to Bangalore with her family in the early 1990s, where she completed her education. After the completion of her high school in Baldwin Girls High School, Bengaluru, she enrolled at Bishop Cotton Women’s Christian College as well as graduating from Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College. She holds a diploma in Jewelery designing.
Career
Kriti Kharbanda started her showbiz career as a model while still studying at the university, working with well-known brands such as “Bhima Jewelers,” “Fair & Lovely,” and “Spar.”
In 2009, she made her film debut in director Raj Pippalla’s Telugu action film, ‘Boni,’ starring Sumanth.
Despite the fact that the film failed at the box office, critics praised her performance. Following that, the actress appeared in a number of Telugu films, including “Om 3D” and “Bruce Lee – The Fighter.”
In 2010, the elegant actress began her Kannada film career with the romantic action film ‘Chirru,’ directed by Mahesh Babu and starring Chiranjeevi Sarja. The film grossed a respectable amount at the box office.
