Early Life and Education
Chinda was born in Elelenwo Town, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, to the late Chief Thomson Worgu Chinda. He hails from the Chidamati family in the Rumuodikirike Compound, Rumuodani community. He grew up under the care of Chief (Barr) Mrs. E.N. Ogan and later Chief (Barr) & Mrs. C.A.W. Chinda.
His education began at State School 1, Orogbum, Port Harcourt (1972-1978), followed by Stella Maris College (1979-1983), Rivers State School of Basic Studies (1984-1986), and Rivers State University of Science and Technology (1987-1994). He was called to the Bar at the Nigerian Law School in 1995.

Career
Chinda is a leading partner at Onyeagucha, Chinda & Associates, a law firm with offices in Port Harcourt, Owerri, and Abuja. His practice covers class action litigation, human rights law, and environmental law.
