John Adedayo Bamidele Adegboyega, born 17 March 1992, popularly known to many as John Boyega is a British actor and producer, best known for playing Moses in his 2011 film debut Attack the Block, having his international breakthrough playing Finn in Star wars and it trilogy sequel films.

John Boyega was born on March, 17, 1992 in Peckham, London, to Nigerian parents. His first role as an actor came during his primary school days where he featured as a leopard in a play at the age of five.
He attended Westminister city as a teenager, later took part in other extra curricaular activities as well as attending classes at Theatre in Peckham.
Boyega was also a performing art student at South Thames College in Wandsworth and was also active in theatre production earning him a lead role in Othello in 2010.
Career
John Boyega’s acting journey began soon after drama school in 2011. He landed roles in plays and films like “Attack the Block” and “Half of a Yellow Sun,” quickly proving his talent. A bigger movie came in: Finn in the new Star Wars trilogy. Boyega went on to gain Global fame following his 2015 debut in “The Force Awakens.”
