Ifeanyi Kalu Biography
Ifeanyi Kalu, born February 13, 1988, is a Nigerian model, actor, and fashion designer. He rose to prominence following his role in the film “Lagos Cougars,” alongside Alexx Ekubo and Monalisa Chinda. He also received more attention for his role in “Perfect Union.”
Ifeanyi also starred in the African Independent Television (AIT) series Allison’s Stand alongside Joselyn Dumas, Bimbo Manuel, and Victor Olaotun. Ifeanyi Kalu, the founder of a clothing line, has done exceptionally well in the fashion industry.

Early Life and Education
Ifeanyi Kalu was born in Surulere, Lagos State, Nigeria on February 13, 1988 to Mr. and Mrs. Emmanuel Gilbert Kalu. He is of the Igbo tribe and originally from Imo State in Nigeria’s eastern region
He is the fifth and final child in a family of five. He has four siblings, four sisters to be exact.
He studied fashion design at the Zaris Fashion and Style Academy and earned a degree in computer science from Lagos State University.
He also has a National Institute of Information Technology Java and Oracle certification (NIIT).
Career
Kalu began his career as a model, appearing in television commercials and billboard advertisements. He enrolled in the Royal Arts Academy to study acting in 2011.
In 2012, he was cast in the role of Usen in the film Kokomma, which was produced by Uduak Isong Oguamanam and directed by Tom Robson. The film was nominated for three Africa Movie Academy Awards.
His roles in the films Lagos Cougars and Perfect Union earned him a nomination for Most Promising Actor at the City People Awards in 2014, and he was nominated again in 2017.
In 2019, he received another nomination for Best Supporting Actor from the City People Awards, and in the same year, he was nominated for and won the Best Supporting Actor award at the United Kingdom-based Zulu African Film Academy Awards (ZAFAA).
So far, the Igbo Surulere – born actor has acted alongside many Nollywood actors such as; Lota Chukwu, Wole Ojo, Belinda Effah, Kiki Omeili, Linda Ejiofor, Mary Lazarus, Nazo Ekezie, Bayray Mcnwizu, Stella Udeze and many others.
Kalu launched a “ready-to-wear” fashion line called Ifeanyi Kalu in 2019.

Personal Life
On December 30, 2021, Ifeanyi Kalu married his lovely wife, Nicolette Ndigwe. They married in a traditional wedding ceremony at Nwangele local government area in Imo State.
Nicolette, his wife, is a poet and filmmaker.
