Honourable Azubogu Chris Chukwuemeka Ifeanyi, born December 24, 1968, better known as Hon. Chris Azubogu, is a Project Manager, IT Consultant, Agricultural Engineer, politician, and lawmaker. He was born and raised in Nnewi, Anambra State where he originally hails from.

Early Life and Education
Hon. Chris Azubogu had his childhood in Nnewi, Anambra State, where he hails from and had his early education.
He attended Umunnealam Primary School Umudun Nnewi, Anambra where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC).
Hon Chris Azubogu proceeded to Okongwu Memorial Grammar School Nnewi, Anambra State for his secondary education.
He was admitted into the prestigious University of Nigeria Nsukka where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in 1985.
He participated in the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme.
Career
Hon. Chris worked at Adarice Production and also at Nigerian Oil Mills in Kano. He also worked as a contractor with SPDC, which he began in 1998.
Hon. Chris was elected into the Federal House of Representatives to represent the Nnewi North/South/Ekwusigo Federal Constituency of Anambra State in 2011, under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
In 2015, he was re-elected to the House where he serves on the following committees: appropriations, interior, aids, loans and debt management, constituency outreach, agriculture, governmental affairs, and house services/welfare.
