Eva Alordiah is a talented Nigerian rapper, entertainer, make-up artist, fashion designer and entrepreneur. Eva Alordiah who was born and raised in Nigeria, has found her life’s fulfillment as a rapper and entertainer, having been a fan of music since the age of six.

Early Life and Education
Elohor Eva Alordiah better known as Eva Alordiah or simply Eva was born in Abuja on 13 August 1989 to Nigerian parents from Delta State. Her mother, who listened to musical recordings from the 1970s and 1980s and became a vinyl collector, introduced her to music, and it was through her mother’s collection that made her to fall in love with music.
Her musical influences as a child included Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Sade Adu, The Carpenters, John Lennon, and Don Williams. She was inspired by Eminem’s “Cleanin’ Out My Closet,” and she decided to pursue a professional rap career as a result.
When she was seven years old, she began participating in various forms of art and continued throughout her adolescence. While in secondary school, she sang in her church’s choir and joined the drama club. Eva enjoyed drawing and reading as a child.
Eva moved around the country as a child, from Asaba to Minna, Niger State, before settling in Lagos with her family. The rapper was born in Lagos and is the second of four siblings. Because of her brothers, she grew up as a tomboy.
She began rapping at the age of 13 and went professional at the age of 16. At the age of 20, she recorded her first song. She decided to pursue a career in music/entertainment after graduating from secondary school in 2004. Teddy Esosa introduced her to Zdon Paporella, who assisted her in better understanding the music business. But, after being accepted to the University of Bowen to study Computer Science, she decided to put music on hold in order to pursue a degree.
While studying at Bowen University, Eva grew up as an entrepreneur, juggling school and business. She had always wanted to be independent so she began auditioning for acting and modeling roles at a young age. Eva Alordiah then began selling used clothing (called Okrika) at school.
Eva began her career as a photography model; this was her first job. She took photos and went on auditions for several jobs. She was preoccupied with her business.
Eva’s music career began in 2009, when she hopped on the instrumental of Lil Wayne’s ‘a millie.’ She dived headfirst into music after the release of the song which she recorded with the help of Tha Suspect of Capital Hill records in early 2009. The song was titled “I dey Play” featuring Tha Suspect and was inspired by M.I’s single, Safe.
The song was nominated in several award shows for the season including ‘Best Collaboration in a Video’ at the Soundcity Music Video Awards and thereafter, became one of the biggest songs of the year which mapped a very good path for the young female rapper.
Also in 2009, she collaborated with Cartiair on the remix of ‘Owo ati Swagger,’ alongside Gino, Terry tha Rapman, and the Late Dagrin.
To gain a following, Eva began to record songs and distribute them as free music, each with its own distinct feel. She gave it her all, whether she was performing a cover or an original song.
Eva has proven the depth of her rap skills time and again with songs/singles like I Stay’ over a Yanni original, ‘Relentless’ produced for her by T.K, and over the DJ Premier produced song of the same title for Gangstarr.
In 2011, she announced the release of her first body of work, titled “The GIGO EP,” ahead of her debut album. When asked why she wasn’t releasing a mixtape first, she says, ‘I want to give the fans an original taste of my music, original beats from me to them.’
Eva started working on her debut EP, The GIGO E.P., as an independent artist. The EP is an acronym for “Garbage in, Garbage Out” and was released on November 20, 2011. It comprises nine songs and was released as a free digital download. The EP was supported by four singles: “I Done Did It”, “Down Low”, “Garbage Out (Your Fada)”, and “High”.
The EP’s production was handled by Sossick, Tintin, and Gray Jon’z. “I Done Did it” was produced by Sossick and released as the EP’s lead single.
On 29 July 2013, Eva released the promotional single “Lights Out”. The song was produced by Gray Jon’z. The music video for the song was directed by Patrick Elis. In an interview with the Leadership newspaper, Eva said she recorded the song to showcase her versatility as an artist.
Eva was featured in the Lagos edition of BBC Radio 1xtra’s Live Lounge alongside M.I, 2face Idibia, Wizkid and Iyanya. As part of the feature, artists were asked to freestyle.Eva collaborated with Burna Boy, Endia, Yung L, and Sarkodie on a song that was initially intended to be a theme song for the third season of MTV Base’s Shuga.
On 31 August 2014, ThisDay newspaper reported that Eva became an ambassador of Guinness Nigeria’s Made of Black campaign alongside Olamide and Phyno. Eva performed at the campaign’s launch and was featured in the campaign’s television commercial.
On 1 March 2016, Eva released her second mixtape titled Because You Been Waiting. It comprised of 5 songs and featured a sample of DMX’s 2000 single “What These Bitches Want”.
In January 2020, after a break from music, Eva released the single titled Friend or Foe, produced by Jesse Alordiah and the video was directed by Ibukun Williams and Eva Alordiah.

On Instagram in June 2016, she announced the end of her 15-month engagement to Caesar Ume-Ezeoke. Caesar proposed to her on stage while she was performing, and their engagement began.
