Oluseye Desmond Sodamola, born June 2, 1984, famously known as DJ Spinall, is a Nigerian disc jockey, record producer, songwriter, label executive, and media personality. He first gained prominence in 2004, while working as a radio DJ at Raypower 100.5 FM. DJ Spinall began calling himself Spinall in 2003 before being signed to Mavin Records in 2013, which he is no longer under.

Early Life and Education
Oluseye Desmond Sodamola was born in Lagos on June 2, 1984, and is the third of five siblings. He completed his primary and secondary school education in Lagos State before moving to Ogun State to pursue a BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Olabisi Onabanjo University.
Spinall‘s first musical experience as a child was listening to his parents play vinyl records.
After seeing the DJ he hired to play in high school, this shaped him and fueled his passion for music.
Career
DJ Spinall founded TheCAPMusic, a record label and management company, in 2014. He signed producers to TheCAPMusic the following year.
Top Boy, as he is commonly known, released his first hit single, “GbaGbe E,” in 2014, which featured Burna Boy. He has worked with many other artists, including 2Baba, Wizkid, Wande Coal, Davido, Mr. Eazi, Tiwa Savage, and many more.
Spinall’s debut album, My Story (2015), featured the hit singles “Oluwa,” “Gba Gbe E,” and “Money.” DJ Spinall’s sophomore album, TEN, was released on October 10, 2016, the following year.
Among those featured on the album are Davido, Sauti Sol, and Mr. Eazi, with lead singles “Package” featuring Davido and “Ohema” featuring Mr. Eazi.
Dreams, his third studio album, was released on October 8, 2017, with the singles “Opoju,” “Calm Down,” and “Gimme Luv.” Spinall’s “fourth” studio album, Iyanu, was released on October 26, 2018.
The album includes two lead singles: “Nowo,” which OkayAfrica describes as one of the 15 biggest Nigerian songs of 2018, featuring Wizkid, and which also peaked on MTV Base’s Official Naija Top 10 Countdown, and “Baba,” which features Kizz Daniel and made it to MTV Base’s Top 20 Hottest Naija tracks of 2018.
On the BET Awards 2017 Red Carpet, Spinall became the first African DJ to perform at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, in 2015, with other supporting acts including Davido, Sarkodie, and R2Bees, as well as host Eddie Kadi.
He is also the first Nigerian DJ to perform in five US cities: New York, Miami, Houston, Austin, and Washington, D.C.
DJ Spinall revealed the featured acts and producers for his fourth studio album, Iyanu, on October 24, 2018. Wizkid, Kizz Daniel, Davido, Burna Boy, Tekno, Nonso Amadi, Wurld, Dotman, and others appear on the album.
DJ Spinall produced the album exclusively, with Killertunes, CKAY, Nonso Amadi, Benie Macaulay, and Stg co-producing.
The lead singles from the album are Nowo,” featuring Wizkid, and Baba,” featuring Kizz Daniel. TheCAP Music released the album independently on October 26, 2018.
In 2019, Beyoncé released an hour-long documentary about her journey through Africa, which was shot in Egypt, Nigeria, South Africa, and the United States.
The documentary aired on ABC on September 16th, and DJ Spinall appeared and spoke about the album.
He signed an international major deal with Atlantic Records UK and a publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music UK on September 11, 2018.
In 2015, he signed a contract with Guinness Nigeria as a Smirnoff Brand Ambassador, which he renewed in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. Spinall signed a multi-million naira deal with Pepsi Nigeria on March 20, 2018.

DJ Spinall has a son by name Mofetoluwa from his undisclosed lover. In 2020, he displayed a picture of him holding his son in an Instagram post with a caption
“Special Year !!! I’m truly blessed. I have been soaking it in all year!!! God has been so good. I’m delighted to have you in my life Mofetoluwa.”
