Hadiza Blell, popularly known as Di’Ja, was born on August 14, 1989, in Kaduna, Nigeria. Her father is from Sierra Leone, while her mother is from Northern Nigeria. She spent most of her childhood in Sierra Leone, the United States, and Nigeria, due to her father’s job as a soldier.
Di’Ja attended the University of Jos in Nigeria, where she studied Biology and Psychology. Later, she moved to Canada to continue her studies at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, where she graduated with a degree in Biology.
