Bobby Lee was born to Korean and American parents, Jeanie Lee and Robert Lee, who owned clothing companies in California before the mother relocated to Phoenix, Arizona.
He was born in San Diego County, California, and he grew up alongside his younger brother Steve Lee in Poway, California.
