Mogrin is a Nigerian musician, Afro-pop singer and architect. His real name is Moses Lasbury Jr., but he is better known by his stage name “Mogrin”. He is a Port Harcourt-based artist (singer/songwriter).

He is currently signed to his label ” MUGNATION ENT”. He was the fifth(5) child out of six(6) children of his parents.
The Port Harcourt-based singer has been in the entertainment industry for many years, but he became known locally after he dropped his first single, “Agana carnival” and after some years, he dropped another hit song titled “Miss Andoni“.
He uses the song to promote the image of the first edition of the Miss Andoni Beauty Pageant (MABP) 2018,and itself to the OBOLO region and the world at large.
Early Life and Education
Mogrin was born in Oyorokoto, Andoni Local Government of Rivers State, the largest fishing settlement in West Africa. After his birth,his family trained him in basic education at Oyorokoto. He later proceeded to government secondary school Ngo, where he obtained SSCE 2010.
After his SSCE, he got admission in 2012 into a higher institution, Rivers State Polytechnic, Bori (Rivpoly) in the department of Architecture.
He later proceeded to Ken Saro-wiwa polytechnic Bori (Kenpoly) to complete his studies.
Mogrin-de-Ice discovered he could sing at the age of 15 while in basic education.
The handsome singer has also performed on a big stage despite growing up in the music industry, but he finds joy by doing good music.
He dropped a song titled “Agana Carnival” 2013 featuring Jhighly and Young N’s, the song promote him locally and the carnival.
Mogrin Lasbury has lots of fans around him because he is kind,friendly, and jovial to his fans on the streets.
Many said he looks like Ice Prince Zamani “Lolz.” Some called him Andoni Ice Prince or Mogrin de Ice.
Career
As a result of his poor background, Mogrin is one of those Port Harcourt base singers that started his career from zero as a result of his poor background.
The “Womandela” crooner Mogrin is one of the fast rising artists in Port Harcourt and the song Womandela is trending on air/social media.
Mogrin Lasbury ventured into his music career after relocating from school to Port Harcourt.
He record some songs but they could not make any hit, he later dropped a song that brought him to port Harcourt celebrity life.
The first single that welcomed Mogrin De Ice into the music business in Port Harcourt was “Womandela,” produced by Sik-One.
The song was released on January 20, 2018. The music video was shot by Chuks and directed by Frank Macaulay DeArtGeneral. The song was popular.
He has performed on the same stage with the likes of Indiana, Flag Pee, Tycee, Lazzhebron, Cliff Nino, Gogo Luke Smith, Double Jay, and too numerous to mention.
The “Mogrin-MOTIVATED-Album Concert” (MMAC), which was held on “January 1st, 2019”, was a success.
