Early Life and Education
Born on March 19, 1983 in Kampala, Uganda, to parents Anthony Opio, an auditor, and Hellen Opio, a businesswoman. She is the fifth child among nine siblings.
She attended several schools during her childhood, including St. Kizito Primary School, Our Lady of Good Counsel, Naalya Secondary School, and St. Lawrence Creamland Campus.
In 2003, she joined Makerere University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Tourism in 2009.
Career
Agnes began her entertainment journey in 2009 when she was cast as Arach in The Hostel without an audition, thanks to a recommendation by Anne Kansiime.
She appeared in the show for three seasons before leaving in 2012 to focus on her growing family. Transitioning to stand-up comedy in 2014, she started with The Punchliners and later became part of Comedy Files.
