Early Life and Education
Humblesmith was born on May 14, 1991, in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, Nigeria. He is the fourth of eight children in a Catholic family. His father was a stationery dealer and his mother was a teacher. His hometown is Uruala in Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State.
He grew up dancing in secondary school and joined the “American Boys” dance group until 2008. After secondary school, he moved to Asaba City, Delta State, to pursue music and later appeared in Nollywood films including Hypertension (2010).
Career

Humblesmith began his entertainment career in 2010 acting in the Nollywood film Hypertension. In 2011, he pursued music seriously in Delta State and moved to Lagos in 2012. He signed with DG Records in 2014, releasing his debut single “Chairmoo,” then later signed with N-tyze Entertainment.
His breakthrough came in 2015 with “Osinachi” featuring Phyno, which topped MTV-based music charts for weeks. In 2016, he released the “Osinachi (Remix)” featuring Davido, signed a multi-million Naira endorsement deal with Tummy-Tummy Food Industry, and featured on notJustOk‘s “10 Artists To Watch In 2016” list.
He released his debut album Osinachi in 2018, featuring Davido, Patoranking, Phyno, Harrysong, Olamide, and Tiwa Savage. After a hiatus, he returned in December 2020 with “Kosi,” meaning “God’s will.” In 2020, he announced his exit from N-tyze Entertainment and was later sued by the label for breach of contract.

He is currently signed to Show Bobo Music Limited. Between 2021 and 2024, he released singles including “Dance,” “Omalicha,” “Born Champion,” “Ogaba,” “Jidenna,” “With My Love,” “Twis & Wain,” “Mmadu,” and “Sochi.”
In 2025, he released “Bolingo” and “Kelechi.” His genre is Afropop with highlife fusion, and he sings in Igbo, Pidgin English, and English. His musical influence includes Bright Chimezie.
