Callie Marie Rivers Curry, born September 17, 1989, better known as Callie Curry, is a famous American retired professional volleyball player. She played collegiate volleyball with the University of Florida Gators from 2007 to 2010 and also in Puerto Rico at a semi-professional level.

Early Life and Education
Callie Curry was raised alongside her three brothers, Jeremiah, Austin, and Spencer, and was the daughter of Philadelphia head coach Doc Rivers and Kristen Rivers.
Austin plays basketball for the Denver Nuggets, Spencer played shooting guard for UC Irvine, and Jeremiah was a member of the Maine Red Claws.
All three have played or are presently playing basketball. Her brothers inspired her to stand up for herself and develop physical and mental toughness as a child.
In 2007, she gained admission to study at the prestigious University of Florida, which she took advantage to play her volleyball to a professional level.

Callie Curry played volleyball for Winter Park High School in Winter Park, Florida, while she was in high school. In her past three seasons, she guided Winter Park to Florida Class 6A state championships.
Curry was second all-time in digs (542) and aces (215), third all-time in hitting percentage, and established school marks for kills (1,394), attempts (2,356), and blocks (184.5) during his career (.460).
She received the Florida Gatorade High School Player of the Year award in 2006.
Curry participated in the USA Junior Olympic Girls’ Volleyball competition for the Junior National A2 Team and was voted MVP in the 2006 USA High Performance Championships.
She is the first athlete to have her jersey retired in Winter Park High School history.
Curry, who was accepted to the University of Florida in 2007, started in her first 19 SEC Conference matches.
She was named to the SEC All-Freshman team at the end of the year. She was an AVCA Honorable Mention All-America pick as a senior.
