He is the third of five children born to Stephen Angapukotanka and Evelyn Angapukotanka. He spent his childhood in Ogu-Bolo local government area in Rivers State, growing up in the riverine region of Southern Nigeria.
For his education, Walta Anga completed his West African Senior School Certificate alongside his First School Leaving Certificate in Rivers State. He furthered his studies by attending the University of Port Harcourt in 1998, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts in 2002.
Career
After graduating from the University, Walter Anga began his journey into acting by landing his first supporting role in the Nollywood film Labista, which featured actors like Ernest Asuzu, Emma Ehumadu, and Jerry Amilo. He faced a two-year hiatus before finding his next acting opportunity.
