A prominent Nigerian pastor and former leader of SPAC Nation (Salvation Proclaimers Ministries Limited), Tobi Adegboyega, has been unsuccessful in his appeal against deportation from the UK. This decision was made due to allegations of financial misconduct totaling £1.87 million.
The UK immigration tribunal concluded that his deportation would not infringe on his human rights, despite arguments claiming he made significant contributions to the community.
Investigations exposed severe mismanagement within his church, which has been accused of behaving like a cult and pressuring vulnerable individuals for donations. Adegboyega has been residing unlawfully in the UK since 2005 after overstaying a visitor’s visa.
