Early Life and Education
Runtown was born on August 19, 1989, in Enugu, Nigeria. He hails from Enugu State, in the southeastern part of Nigeria. Runtown grew up in a family of seven, and he was the last child.
Runtown attended St. Augustine’s Seminary, a Catholic boarding school in Ezzamgbo, Ebonyi State, where he completed his secondary education. He later went on to study Physics at the Enugu State University of Science and Technology, but dropped out in his second year to pursue his music career.
Runtown went back to the Lagos State University (LASU) where he studied Fashion Management while still pursuing his music career.
