Omowunmi Akinnifesi was born in Lagos, Nigeria on December 4th, 1986 to Dr. Emmanuel Akinnifesi, a former director of the Central Bank of Nigeria. She is a model and an entrepreneur.
In 2005, Omowunmi became the 18th most beautiful girl in Nigeria. She was crowned the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, organized by Silver Bird, after which she was eligible to represent Nigeria at the Miss World Pageant in China.
That same year, the elegant queen made Nigeria proud by winning the coveted Miss Tourism International crown in far-off Ukraine.

Early Life and Education
Omowunmi spent her early childhood in Sierra Leone. While in Sierra Leone, she attended five (5) primary schools before returning to Nigeria to attend Queen’s College, Yaba for her secondary school education.
At the age of 18, she was crowned Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN). Akinnifesi earned a degree in Geography and Regional Planning from the University of Lagos in 2008.
Akinnifesi graduated from King’s College London with a master’s degree in Environmental Monitoring, Modeling, and Management in 2012.
She studied at London College of Fashion and later obtained certificates in project management and business analysis.
She attended CIEBS and took the Women in Entrepreneurship and Leadership for Africa program, studied with ALIBABA Business School in China, studied at Harvard University and at IESE New York.
