Early Life and Education
Lucy Essien completed her primary and secondary school education in Calabar, Cross River State.
Lucy Essien attended Federal Government Girls’ College, Calabar where she obtained her West Africa Senior School Certificate.
Lucy later furthered her education at Cross River University of Technology, Calabar (CRUTECH) where she graduated with a Bachelor of Education degree (B.Ed.) in Elementary Education and Teaching (2016).
Lucy dropped out of school during her first year at university before successfully graduating with a second class upper (2.1).
Career
Lucy worked previously as office manager of Dejavu Home Cinema and Interior Finishing, a company specializing in building and setting up private cinemas in residential homes.
She was a project and social media manager for Rubitec Nigeria Limited, a renewable energy company located in Ikeja, Lagos.
Lucy also worked as a medical secretary at Reddington Multi-Specialist Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos.
Lucy is the owner of Luciana’s Grill, a grill business she started in 2017.
