Early Life and Education
Omolade Oyetundun popularly known by her stage name as Lade was born on November 16, in the Mushin area of Lagos State. She is originally from Kwara State.
Ladé was a student at the University of Ilorin in Kwara State, where she entertained friends with her distinctive voice and dope sounds, paving the road for her career in music. She also majored in Mass Communication at the University of Ilorin (Unilorin).

Lade discovered her love of music when she was six years old. She began singing at a young age and while she was studying at the University of Ilorin in Kwara State, she went on to win the third season of Unilorin Idol in 2017.
She began posting various freestyles and covers of popular songs online. She has performed covers of songs by Simi, Fireboy DML, and Khaid With You.
