Before entering pageantry, Johnson ran Ace Ride, a Lagos-based mobility company offering inter-city travel, luxury vehicle rentals, and transport and tour management.
In 2020 he competed against 39 contestants for the Mr Ideal Nigeria title and won, going on to represent Nigeria at Mister Africa International; that victory opened the door to endorsement and campaign work with major brands and sports initiatives.
