Early Life and Education
Ibinabo Fiberesim was born in Dublin, Ireland to Dr. Dawaridabo Babatunde Fiberesima, a Nigerian father and Dr. Mrs. Bisola Fiberesima, an Irish mother who raised her.
She is a native of Okrika, Rivers State, the South-South region of Nigeria.
She started her education at the YMCA Play Centre in Port Harcourt before continuing on to the Federal Government Girls College in New Bussa, Niger State.
Ibinabo Fiberesim graduated from the University of Ibadan with a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature.
She further her studies to Media Business School Ronda, Spain, where she received a Master’s Degree in Audio Visual Management.
Career
Ibinabo Fiberesima took part in the Miss Nigeria beauty contest in 1991. She was designated as Bibiana Ohio’s first runner-up.
She had previously won the Miss Wonderland competition in 1990 and finished first runner-up at the Miss NUGA competition held at the University of Calabar in the same year.
She made her debut in the 1992 edition of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) pageant, finishing as the second runner-up.
Before being named the winner of Miss Wonderful that same year, she competed in and finished as the first runner-up in the 1997 edition of Miss Nigeria.
Ibinabo Fiberesima made her acting debut in the film Most Wanted and has since starred in a number of Nigerian productions.

Ibinabo Fiberesima is happily married to the love of her life, Uche Egbuka. The couple got married in 2014, with the union blessed with two sons.
Ibinabo previously dated Fred Amata and they have a daughter together named, Zino Amata.
Controversy
Ibinabo was accused of manslaughter and reckless driving in 2009 for killing a woman named Giwa Suraj inadvertently in 2006.
She was expelled from his position as the Actors Guild of Nigeria’s president and given a 5-year prison term by a Federal High Court in Lagos on March 16, 2016.
However, on April 7, 2016, a Lagos Court of Appeal granted her bail in the amount of $2 million and two sureties in the same amount pending the outcome of her appeal at the Supreme Court.
