Iba Jamal was born on June 1, 1984, in Lagos State, in the Southwest region of Nigeria. He grew up with his parents, who gave him the birth name Yusuf.
He was born in the mainland part of the city of Lagos. He is a Yoruba boy who hails from one of the southwest states. Iba Jamal obtained his First School Leaving Certificate from a public primary school in Lagos.
Career
Iba Jamal developed an interest in music at a very young age and began composing music lyrics.
