Early Life and Education
Femi was born in London on October 28, 1977, to Nigerian parents of Yoruba heritage. He studied Race and Culture and Performing Arts at university.
During his studies, he noticed how few actors from minority backgrounds got into drama schools. That experience became the spark for what would become his life’s work: opening doors for others who looked like him.
Career
Femi started his career in front of the camera, appearing in TV shows like Prime Suspect, The Bill, and EastEnders, plus films including Last Chance Harvey with Dustin Hoffman and The Good Lie with Reese Witherspoon.
