Everton Mlalazi was born in 1982 in Harare, Zimbabwe, and grew up between Nyamandhlovu and Harare. From an early age, he showed a passion for music through school and church activities.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics and Mathematics from the University of Zimbabwe, a Master’s in Development Studies from Midlands State University, and an MBA from the University of Gloucestershire.
Career
Everton’s professional journey began in the corporate world, where he held significant roles such as Executive Advisor at Sakunda Holdings, a company involved in Zimbabwe’s energy sector.
He also worked in development-focused positions, including Monitoring and Evaluation Adviser and Senior Projects Manager at various organizations. D
espite his corporate commitments, Everton’s passion for music remained strong. In 2014, he founded The Vine Music Ministry, a gospel group that marked the start of his formal music career.
