Early Life and Education
Corinne Foxx was born in the city of Los Angeles to Jamie Foxx, whose real name is Eric Marlon Bishop, and his ex-girlfriend Connie Kline.
Her father, Jamie Foxx, is an award-winning American actor, singer, and comedian, while her 53-year-old mother, Connie Kline, who is of European descent, is a tax preparer and an Air Force veteran.
She was a cheerleader at Sierra Canyon School in high school and was featured on the cover of American Cheerleader in 2011. She attended the University of Southern California, where she graduated in 2016.
She majored in public relations and was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority. She went to Howard Fine Acting Studio and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts after college.
Not only did Corinne follow her father’s footsteps to thrive in her acting career, she also changed her stage name. She took her father’s stage name, Foxx, in late 2014.
Career
She made a cameo appearance in The Jamie Foxx Show when she was six years old and was frequently her father’s date on the red carpet as she grew up. She has appeared on the show “Sweet/Vicious” and was Miss Golden Globe in 2016.
In 2018, she was announced as the DJ for the second season of Beat Shazam (hosted by her father), and she has a role in her father’s directorial debut, All-Star Weekend. On May 20, 2019, she returned to her DJ role on Beat Shazam for the third season premiere.
In November 2014, she made her formal modeling debut at the Bal des débutantes. She started modeling in 2014 and has worked with brands like Ralph Lauren, Dolce & Gabbana, Kenneth Cole, and Wet ‘n’ Wild cosmetics.
She debuted at New York Fashion Week in 2016, walking for Kanye West’s Yeezy line, and she returned in September 2017 to walk for Sherri Hill’s Spring 2018 collection.
She appeared as Sasha in the horror sequel 47 Meters Down: Uncaged in 2019.
