Bimbo Manuel, originally from Lagos State, initiated his career journey after earning a degree in Theater Arts from the University of Port Harcourt.
In 1985, he ventured into television as a broadcaster at the Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation (OGBC) and later transitioned to Ogun State Television (OGTV). In 1986, he set out on his acting career.

After graduating with honors, Bimbo Manuel initially aspired to become a DJ due to his profound love for music. He delved into the entertainment scene by frequenting nightclubs and eventually getting married.
However, a friend’s suggestion led him to explore a career in broadcasting, and in 1985, he commenced his professional journey as a broadcaster at Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation (OGBC).
