Early Life and Education
Hotkid was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. He grew up in the Ebute-Metta area with his parents and siblings, and developed an interest in music while he was still very young. He began singing and freestyling at about nine years old. He later attended King’s College, Lagos.
