Early Life and Education
Bruce Melodie was born and raised in Rwanda, in Kigali’s Kicukiro District and Kanombe area. He is the second of four children, and he developed an interest in music at a young age.
He attended Camp Kanombe Primary School and later studied at Rwamagana Islamic Secondary School. He also reportedly sang in a church choir before beginning his professional career. Public information about his university education is limited.

Bruce Melodie began his professional music career around 2012. His early songs included “Tubivemo,” “Ntundize,” “Indorerwamo” and “Bizashira.”
