Early Life and Education
Selly began her educational journey at Creator Schools and continued on to Witsands International School.
She later completed her second cycle education at Akosombo International School, where she gained recognition for her dancing skills and represented her schools in various dance competitions.
After completing high school, she ventured into her TV career as the host of Ceasar’s House Game Show on TV3 Ghana in 2008.
Following this, she pursued further education at Marshalls University, earning a diploma in Business Law, Economics, and Marketing in 2009.
She then underwent media training at the Radio and Broadcasting Development Foundation, where she excelled and graduated with distinction.
Career
In 2010, Selly joined Atlantis Radio, where she served diligently as a morning show producer, voice-over artist, and reporter.
Selly’s rise to fame commenced when she won the Miss Ghallywood beauty pageant and talent hunt, becoming the face of the Ghana Movie Industry in 2011.
She emerged as a prominent figure in Ghallywood movies, showcasing her talent as an actress in various films, including “You May Kill The Bride,” “A Cry For Mercy,” “John and John,” “Beautiful Ruins,” “Any Other Monday,” “Number One Fan,” “The Table,” and others.
In 2013, she represented Ghana in Big Brother Africa and eventually became the thirteenth housemate to be evicted.
After her stint on the show, she returned to host Premieres on Joy Prime TV. Selly’s success as a host led her to helm “African Pot,” a cooking show that celebrates African cuisine with an upscale perspective.
